Brien McMahon 2, Norwalk 2 (OT) -- Norwalk's Shannon Bloom scored with 5:55 left in regulation as the two intracity rivals battled to a tie for the city championship yesterday.

Sarah Laverty also tallied while Kim Stow registered 12 saves in net for Norwalk (3-1-2-2, 3-2-2-2).

Stephanie Fazio scored both goals while Gabby Dunn made one save in net for McMahon (4-1-3).

The schools battled through a scoreless 10-minute overtime period. McMahon will take possession of the city title cup from Norwalk, which won last year, because McMahon scored the first goal of yesterday's clash.
