MEGAN DAHER

Awards or Achievements:  Varsity tri-captain of field hockey, CAPT Master, All-FCIAC Honorable Mention, Who's Who in America's Sports, Fairfield University Book Award, & Softball FCIAC Runners-up.

Goals, Dreams, Hopes, Aspirations:  To become the leader and player I've always dreamed of being, make it to the FCIAC Championship, and to be able to dance like the twins!

Likes:  Garth Brooks!  The beach, music, movies, working out, eating, sports, hanging out with my friends, and swinging (Right Linds, Mad-dawg, Kate & Kris?!) 

Best Memory of Field Hockey:  Stef Granata, Cindy Lou, Seaburg's pre-game cheer, learning to do the heel-toe at Ashley's house (yea Naye Naye, Taye Taye & Neener) Beans (with Kirby, Maddawg & Linds) Field Hockey Camp - it was awesome! And the McMahon OT game, we were great!

Heroes:  Don Mattingly, Cal Ripkin Jr., Jen Rizzotti, Maria Zezima (R.I.P. 143) and my uncle OE

LINDSAY SOLIS

Awards or Achievements:  Unsung hero (FH season 2000) Tri-captain with Meg and Shauntaye.  2nd starting varsity.  Part of the NHS 2000 team which was first ever to make the FCIACS. 

Goals, Dreams, Hopes, Aspirations:  I hope to continue playing field hockey in college next year, but for my last season at NHS, I want to be a good leader for the team and of course.... BEAT MCMAHON!!!

Best Memory of Field Hockey:  Field Hockey Dinner where "tay-tay" tried to teach everyone how to dance!  Camp, winning the talent show for "Beans" with Kirby, Madisyn and Meg!  "Everyone get Kirby a plate of food, she needs to be energized!"

Thanks:  First of course I have to say thank you to my parents, without you I wouldn't be the person I am today and would have never gotten through some of the roughest times of my life.  Thanks to Mr. Seaburg for never giving up on me, and believing in me. And of course, thanks to my friends:  "When everyone walked away, you held my hand tighter."

CINDY BOCCUZZI

Awards or Achievements:  4th year playing, 2nd year on varsity.  Being part of the first team to make FCIACS in NHS history. 

Goals, Dreams, Hopes, Aspirations:  To make FCIACs again, and to graduate from college and become a successful district attorney.  And of course, to beat McMahon.

Likes:  Food, field hockey, and chocolate milkshakes

Best Memory of Field Hockey:  Beans, learning the ghetto dances at field hockey dinners, the electric slide!  Karen and Shaunaya running into each other and our entertaining bus rides.

Thanks:  To all my friends who I've played with this season, my parents and sisters for their support and all our wonderful coaches.

ASHLEY DiCARLO

Awards or Achievements:  4th year playing, 2nd year on Varsity--first team to make FCIACs in NHS History

Goals, Dreams, Hopes, Aspirations:  To learn to dance like Shauntaye, graduate college with a degree in psychology, beat McMahon again!

Likes:  Field hockey, dancing, music, and pizza

Best Memory of Field Hockey:  Beating McMahon every year and Cindy's inspiring quotes:  "Meat-a-balls" and "Let's get this road on the show!"

Heroes:  Madonna, Mandy Daher

DINEEN NAPIER

Awards or Achievements:  My achievement was starting varsity defense for 2 years.

Goals, Dreams, Hopes, Aspirations:  My goals are to become a physical therapist/athletic trainer, attend UCONN, Springfield College, Quinnipiac or Marist College.

Likes:  Haning out with friends, driving, talking on the phone, and food.  Movies, too!  Just plain having fun at whatever comes my way, SPORTS (can't forget)

Best Memory of Field Hockey:  Being on the first field hockey team to make it to the FCIACs.

Heroes:  My mother and father

Thanks:  To my parents, Mr. Seaburg and all of the people who support me. Also thanks to all of the seniors, I've had to much fun. And good luck to all of the up-coming players!

MADISYN WHITEHEAD

Awards or Achievements:  BEAT MCMAHON!!

Best Memory of Field Hockey:  Winning the talent show at camp with Megan, Lindsay and Kirby.

Thanks:  I just want to thank my friends for supporting and helping me in playing and making it through this season.  I never would be back if it wasn't for them.

SHAUNTAYE WILLIAMS

Awards or Achievements:  Honorable mention all-FCIAC jr. year.  Captain sr. year, more to come this year, making states 8th year, 1st year making FCIAC. We can do it again.

Goals, Dreams, Hopes, Aspirations:  My goal is to go to college and finish with my masters in communications of physical therapy.

Likes:  Field hockey, track and field, football, basketball, butter-pecan ice cream, pizza, music, reading, smiling, Allen Iverson and guys too!!  Foxy five.

Best Memory of Field Hockey:  When we had a dinner at Ashley's house and we TRIED to teach everyone how to dance for homecoming.  Do you get the idea?  Drama, and haging with my best friend ?  And my lovely twin Naya.

Heroes:  God, my parents, Maya Angelou, my sisters and brother, Robin Hudson.

Thanks:  To God, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here.  My parents for all the support.  To coach Seaburg for putting up with me.  Thanks to my captains Meg & Linds for making me be a part of the tri. I love you all.  Also to my crew, even though I dropped out Shaconna & Jessica.  F5 for life.

SHAUNNAYA WILLIAMS

Awards or Achievements:  My first year playing I got the best defensive player award. 4x100 relay team broke the school record, 51.9 seconds.  2nd year playing FH, we make it to states and FCIACs for the 1st time.  Made varsity my 2nd year.

Goals, Dreams, Hopes, Aspirations:  Aim high!  I want to successfully complete 4 years of college and become a professional athlete.  Some day I'll come back and coach Norwalk's field hockey team.

Likes:  I like chicken, my favorite color is blue, I love hats and like hangin with my girls foxy five - S, K, S, J, D, S.  I love butter-pecan ice cream!!!  I love all of you girls on the team, I'll never forget you all.

Best Memory of Field Hockey:  When me and Karyn H. made fun of the J.V. girls for being goofy during a corner, we ran right into each other.  Karyn has no sense of direction. Foxy five divas.  Sara, can you tell me and Taye apart?

Heroes:  He's taught me everything I know - Through it all, God can provide.  Marion Jones (my girl) Stef Granata!

Thanks:  I want to first thank God because without Him, none of this would be possible. My parents, for telling me to push on and keep going.  My friends for always telling me I can do it.  Mr. Seaburg - for pushing me (I'll love you for it later)  Coach Kelle - You showed me the ropes.  And to my twin sister - you're my other half, without you I'm nothing.  I love you to death girl. #21, #2, #9, 4 life.

KAREN HOFFMAN

Awards or Achievements:  2nd year on field hockey, 1st year out was captain for J.V. Received an N for Varsity track.

Goals, Dreams, Hopes, Aspirations:  I want to go to college at Quinnipiac University and major in education.  I want to graduate from their 3 year program with a degree in teaching.

Likes:  Field hockey, spaghetti, track, dogs, music, dancing, boys, and Usher Raymond.

Best Memory of Field Hockey:  At practice during a corner, when me and Shaunnaya were laughing at JV when 2 players ran into each other. Then 5 minutes later, Shaunnaya and I ran into each other.

Heroes:  My mom, Marrion Jones, Aaliyah, God

Thanks:  I would like to thank God, all the support and the fathers club for making this possible.  I also want to thank Mr. Seaburg for believing that I could do it.  And the Lord & my family for always being there.  Also to my friends forever, the twins, without them I would never thought of playing field hockey.  I love all you guys!
