Chelsea Aloise

Achievements: Team Healer Award
Freshman year, MVP Junior year, Co-captain junior year, making state team
junior year, played all four years.
Goals, Dreams, Hopes,
Aspirations: To win States and FCIACs! I hope to attend a good
college and have a successful career, and be happy no matter what.
Favorite food, music, book, or…:
Ice cream, pasta, strawberry-frosted donuts with sprinkles, and anything
with cheese on top is usually pretty good.
Best Memory:
Field hockey camp, pasta dinners, HOT CORN, and practice/games
everyday with all of you wonderful people.
Heroes:
My mom, dad, and Alex. I love you guys!
Anyone you would
like to thank: Mom and Dad- for
coming to my games, paying for all the equipment and clothes, and
encouraging me and supporting me even when you don’t understand what’s going
on! Alex- for running with me and pushing me to do my best. Thanks for
passing with me and letting me try out my new moves on you! Thank you to all
of the coaches for dedicating so much time to this program. Thank you for
pushing me and teaching me how to play. To the team- thanks for a great
season and good luck next year! Seniors- it’s been a long four years, love
ya girls!

Lisa Casubolo

Making JV as a freshman, Offensive Player of the Year as a sophomore, state
semifinals, playing all 4 years.

Best Memory:
“Kill Me,” Unitedy, Beating up Andrea, POP? CORN, Working at the Oyster Fest
with Kim, Car Washes, Pasta Dinners, Singing on the bus, Camp- “I look fly
in my Bat Man underwear,” Dance offs and fights with Kim, ON THE END LINE!,
Put on your sneakers!, Mine and Rachel’s hand shake, Playing for Kristi and
making myself look like a complete idiot so I would not have to run sprints.
Heroes:
My parents. Andrea, the BEST little sister ever!
Anyone you would like to thank:
I would like to thank my Mom and Dad for always being there and putting up
with the crazy schedules. Mom you dealt with all of the frustration and
attitude but stuck by me no matter what. I love you guys! I would also
like to thank my brother Tony, you are the man and taught me how to be a
stronger/tougher person. Also Mr. Seaburg I can’t imagine what it would be
like to put up with a b ge to do it very well. You are always pushing us to
do better and never give up on any of us, thank you! Kristi I will never
forget that crazy season! It was the best time of my life. The ’06 Varsity
Field Hockey team nothing will ever come close to all of the memories I had
with you. You girls are unforgettable and I love all of you!

Amanda Christian

Pasta dinners, teaching everyone how to speak German, always getting stuck

Mr. Seaburg, I have no idea how you put up with us everyday, but thanks for
all the encouragement that helped me become the player I am today. Dad,
thanks for listening when I told you all the details about each game, even
when you were right there to witness it yourself.

Britt Kaplan

JV Captain, Taken to states and FCIACs all 3 years, Giving birth to Despina
Goals: Go to
college and major in communications. Get a good job, get married, and have
2 kids (if I’m lucky). Most importantly BEAT MCMAHON and win States/FCIACs!

Thanks: I would
like to thank my parents for all of their time, support, and countless rides
to practice, if it wasn’t for them I don’t think I would get through the
day. My sister, Jordan, for motivating me to be the best I can be, getting
me up when I was down, and just being the best sister. My coaches for
teaching me what I know today and the girls I’ve played with, you’ve made my
4 seasons amazing!

Allie LeBlanc

Anyone you would like to thank: I want to thank my parents for being a
source of inspiration and support and always showing the utmost confidence
in my ability and always showing faith in me, I love you both. To Mr.
Seaburg, thanks for always putting up with us girls and always pushing us to
do our best. To Kristi, for always having faith in me and making me the
player I am today, I can't thank you enough and I love you! To my senior
girls, it's been a blast thank you for making this season the best, I love
you all.

Kristy Lee
Awards and Achievements:
I received the “MVP Award” freshman year; I was the Tri-Captain of the JV
team junior year and also received the “Team Catalyst Award” junior year.
Goals, Dreams, Hopes, Aspirations:
To beat McMahon, to win FCIACs and States, to improve as a player and to get
accepted into a great college and be successful in whatever I choose to do.
Best
Memory:
Freshman year playing for “Coach G-Unit”, working at the Oyster Fest “HOT
CORN!” Pasta dinners, bus rides, being called Dorie since my freshman year,
car washes, Amanda’s German and her nickname Ostrich, camp in Massachusetts,
me and Shannon stealing everyone’s fans at camp, and playing for Coach
Kristi sophomore and junior year and being with my girls everyday!
Anyone you would like to thank:
I would like to thank my parents for supporting and encouraging me all four
years. Thanks for having dinner ready for me when I came home after a late
night practice or game. Thanks Mom, you were always there for me, to wake me
up for early morning practices, making sure you were at every single game-
home or away and for sacrificing your time to work around my practice and
game schedule. I would also like to thank Mr. Seaburg for having faith in me
this year- my first year on Varsity. You really helped me improve as a
player and thanks for never giving up on me.
*To all
the seniors: these four years have been amazing, thanks for being there for
me and for making this team unforgettable! I will never forget you girls, I
love you all!

Kim Merritt
Awards and Achievements: Surviving coach G, being apart of the varsity
team which went to States my freshman year, receiving the offensive award
freshman year, getting m.v.p at camp sophomore year, making varsity Junior
and senior year, going to FCIAC and States junior year.
Goals, Dreams, Hopes, and Aspirations: Win states and FCIAC’s this
year, and going to college to major in Art and business and to continue
field hockey.
Best
Memories: My best memories during field hockey were: Freshman year
pasta/dance party, being a ball girl freshman year during the State game
while watching the team’s intensity, and beating New Milford in three
overtimes including penalty strokes last year in states.
Favorite food, music, book: My favorite food is birthday cake ice-cream
from cold stone. I love all music, and my favorite book is “It.”
Anyone you would like to thank: I would like to thank my mom for her
encouragement, Mr. Seaburg for teaching me everything about the sport, and
the varsity FH team.

Mara Parker
Awards and
Achievements: Made Varsity my junior year
Goals, Dreams, Hopes, and Aspirations: I hope to get into a good
college and be successful in the future. Although ill never have another
experience like the one I've had these past four years on this team, I hope
to move on and build on what its taught me.
Best
Memory: Our game against BMHS is unforgettable, the pasta dinners
were awesome, Jess' house was my favorite and Stacey I think my legs are
still numb, the practices in the rain, even though it was cold and wet, we
had smiles on our faces.
Anyone you would like to thank: I'd like to thank my parents for
there support. Raffs, wow! I honestly don't know where to begin, without you
there would be no hope for me, you've made this season unforgettable even
though I still feel you would loose your head if it wasn't on your
shoulders, you kept my head up. Ha! I heart you!!

I'll miss the three of you so much. And my senior girls, this season has
been amazing, if your guys had been anyone else, it just wouldn't have been
the same! I don't think I'd be able to spend that much time with anyone

To make it to the championship game of states and WIN! Go to FCIAC's...Beat
McMahon and have an awesome senior year. My goal is to go to a great
college and become an elementary school teacher that all the kids love!!
Favorite Food, music, book, or...:
I love getting egg and cheese sandwiches with Shannon before school! Also
my mom's delicious cooking and baking! My favorite book ever would have to
be The Glass Castle. The best movie i have ever seen was Step Up
with my fav person Shannon!

Anyone you would like to thank:
I would like to thank the two most important people in my life...my mom and
dad! Thank you so much for trying to make it to all of my games and be a
cheering section for me. Mom- Thanks for running the concession, I know it
took a TON of hard work! Dad- Thank you for always taking my goalie bag
after games when i was too tired to do it myself!(or too lazy!) I love you
both so much and hope that I have made you proud! Also thanks to all the
SENIORS! You have all touched my life in your own way...I LOVE YOU ALL!
Anything Else:
A special thanks to Mr. Seaburg for constantly listening to ALL my
problems (and trust me there were a ton) and for letting me be in your room
literally all day for the past 4 years! I really appreciate the time you
put in on and off the field and how much you care about ever player in the
NHS field hockey program! Also, thank you for believing in me! Mrs.
Seaburg, thank you so much for giving up your husband for a big chuck of
time during the field hockey season! Also thank you for everything you have
done for me! Mrs. Moff...thanks for getting all our games set and ready to
go...YOU ARE THE BEST!
