They improved to 6-3-4-2 overall, 6-2-3-2 in the FCIAC and will travel across town today to play Brien McMahon's host Senators in the first round at 3 p.m.

Kim Stow stopped two shots in goal for Norwalk en route to the shutout.

Molly Griffin had four saves for Ridgefield (5-6-1-2, 4-6-1-2).
